Orland Park Bakery and Cafe Open Position – Team Lead

Orland Park Bakery proudly introduces the opening of our new secondary location. The new store will combine our traditional baked goods along with the addition of a cafe. The cafe will feature custom specialty coffees, gourmet handcrafted sandwiches,delicious salads and more, while still providing the perfect pairing of your favorite bakery goods, all in one.
We are currently looking for motivated leaders who want an opportunity for growth to join our team at 183rd and LaGrange Road, in Tinley Park. One year of experience in one or more of the following areas.
- Barista or Speciality Coffee ShopÂ
- Retail Bakery
- Customer Service Representative
- Food Service Shift Leader or Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Works with the store management team to resolve any and all team member or customer issues or concerns
- Fosters and encourages a positive work environment.
- Assist in the supervision in the stores overall daily operations
Job Skills:
- High energy, enthusiastic and commitment to OPBC values and standards
- Desire to recruit, coach, train and mentor associates
- Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, multitasking and delegation.
- Planning, organizing and basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must have open availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays if necessary
- Work requires the following in an 8 hour shift, standing, walking, reaching and twisting.
